PICK is a multi-value database. read: _not_ relational. was invented by some dude in CA in the 60s initially to catalog chopper parts for the US military. PICK is all files-based. PICK is a nightmare and a bit like sea urchins. If you're gonna mess with them, you better damn well understand what you're doing.
Целиком верно, между прочим. В плане того, что PICK таки да использовался «тупыми сержантами на заводах МакДоннел Дуглас», как любил заметить мой шеф :)) И написал ее таки да dude - хиппи а-ля Лебовски из шедевера братьев Коэнов :))
